I am loving the time in my studio today & am making a serious dent in my holiday cards. I almost have the three dozen cards my mother-in-law requested finished, so I can move on to the next project. I love a productive day.
I prefer not to be a "mass-producer" when it comes to card making, so instead I use lots of different sketch ideas, particularly when I'm making a high volume of cards in a single day. Thankfully, there are lots of different sketch sources on the Internet. One is Sketch This Cards where this Sketch #38 can be found.
I love the texture and sparkle of the DP by Cloud 9 Design (Fiskars). The poinsettias have an embossed sheen. I stamped the Inkadinkadoo Merry stamp with Maroon ColorBox Chalk ink four times on coordinating cardstock and punched it out using 1 1/4 inch circle punch. Each is matted on a 1 3/8" circle punched from hunter green. The holiday twill was purchased at an after-Christmas sale last year, and I just broke open the package.
This is a beautiful card! and I love that holiday twill its gorgeous!
