What a nice giveaway! Thanks for a chance to win! My tree is FILLED with homemade & "Special" ornaments, so it's hard to pick just one! One that always makes me smile is a metal circle embossed with holly. In the center is a photo of our son (now 38) who was just a few months old. He's laughing & it's just precious!

I have two Peanuts ornaments that my aunt gave to my brother and i when we were young. They are vintage 1976 or sometime thereabouts and have traveled across the country with me each time I moved. Each year, I hang them on my tree and think of all the Christmases past. Thanks for the chance for great candy!

Thanks for this chance to win sweet candy! My favorite ornament...that's an easy one. Twenty eight years ago, I worked in a bank, and right before Christmas, a very rude customer upset me and I started crying. When I was gone for lunch, this customer (a complete stranger) brought me a gift all wrapped up...it was two adorable angels. I think of this every year as I carefully unwrap them.

I love stockings! I have my original stocking from my first christmas, made by my grandmother. It's pretty big, made of felt and so cute. It's over 30 years old and I love it!

First off Happy Gobble day.. I can't believe how fast the holidays are coming OH MY!.. Well my fav. X-mas ornament that I love right now is my FirstCandles Crystal ornament I recieved last year which I got in honor of our daughter Anjelique who passed away to SIDS. It means the world to me as it made of crystal and it shines just like she does in our hearts.Although she may not be here she lives on in our hearts and that is the sprit of X-mas to always remember the love we have for others and to always have them know how much they are loved.. The goodies are just a bonus..:)

I dont put up a tree anymore but I have boxes of ornaments for my kids when they want them. I especially liked the handmade clothes pin people I made 35 years ago. Especially Robin Hood with his bow and Arrow.

Tracy

What a stash! My favorite ornaments are the ones that my mom buys from Hallmark each year for the kids. There's one for every year :)

Congrats on your hits!
Mine is my daughter's, when she made a angel ornament and of course her cute little picture was the angel.
Thanks so much for a chance at this sweet giveaway.

Wow I have so many favorites but the one that comes first to mind is a cross stitch Mary and Baby Jesus. I made it a few years ago and just love and make sure it has a prominent spot on the tree every year. Thanks for a chance to win some great goodies. Happy holidays!!!

Oh my!
We don't have a tree, as we are Jewish, but when we go to family that does have a tree, I love to take out the ornaments that were handmade and the ones that have photos from years past on them. Give me family, and give me tradition!

The ornament that makes me smile....an easy one. Although I have lots of ones that my kids made me that I hold dear, the ones that make me smile are the beaded ones that my late Grandma made me. She made several different ones and created a "set" for each of us grandkids (me and my three brothers). They were always special to me but since my grandma is gone now they are even more so! I look forward to when my girls realize the value of them and I can pass some down to each of them.

OMG!!! I LOVE the Love, Elsie line of products!! My favorite ornament is the "baby's first Christmas" Precious Moments that my daughter got when she was born.

Delightful blog...and equally delightful giveaway! It's been fun reading everybody's comments. I have a set of twelve tiny cross stitched ornaments made by my mum-in-law many, many years ago. They're the first things out of the Christmas ornament boxes, and the first things on our tree (after the lights) every year.

Sandra

Happy Thanksgiving!!! My mother-in-law always tried her best to provide for her family and always give her kids everything. One year was tough, so she made these cute little ornaments that look like skates. She gave me a few she found and told me to hang on to them. I always make sure that I hang them on the tree. I remind the kids that money doesn't always buy you the prettiest ornaments.

When my kids were only 5 & 7 when I got divorced (many years ago) and I told them they could each pick out one ornament at the 88 cent store, my daughter picked out a pixie ornament with a pine cone body, and my son picked out a plastic rheindeer - over the years the pixie's felt hat disintegrated and the rheindeer some how lost one leg - I still have those and they go on the tree every year, 43 years later.

Thats easy! I got a little angel from my brother and sister in law when they lived in Irland! I keep her in a box and cant wait to get her out every year! :) congrats on the hits!

Thanks for the chance to win some great goodies! My favorite ornament is a ceramic teddy bear in pink pajamas. It was on my grandmother's tree when I was a kid and it was my ornament. Each grandkid had an ornament that represented them. We also had brass ornaments with our name on them too, but I don't know what happened to those. Hopefully I still have them and am just forgetting. Thanks again for the chance to win!

A Nativity set was given to me by my daughters a few a years ago---It is so fun to get it out each year and set it up.

hey stef! cool stuff here--i need those envelopes! i used to really be into painting with acrylics on wood (tole painting) and have made A LOT of Christmas ornaments over the years. i would have to say the ones made by me are some of my favorites. my kids love the angel one i made in kindergarten out of bread dough with all the glitter falling off. it is precious to me, too!

Diane Lapointe

What beautiful candy, thanks at a chance to win them!! My favorite ornaments is the ones you buy at Hallmark with the year and a meaning!! We get one every year, they are gorgeous!!

Stephanie

I would have to say that my favorite decoration is not one that hangs ON the tree but UNDER the tree. My grandmother handmade a tree skirt for our family when my parents got married and over 30 years later it still looks beautiful under the tree each year. It has a Santa scene with elves and gifts and snowflakes and is covered in sparkly rhinestones and beads.

Ida Faye Cutler

Years ago I made quite a few cross-stitched ornaments for family members. Each ornament had their name and the year on it. When my mother passed away, I brought home the one I made for her. Each year when I see it, it brings a smile and a tear and it has a place of honor on my tree.

Allison

I have been buying my kids a decoration every year that represents what they are "in to". Last year it was Elmo for DD and construction vehicles for DS. This year it will be Dora for DD and trains for DS (are we seeing a theme here?). Thanks Stef!
