Look at this amazing card I received in the mail today from my "separated-at-birth card-making-sister" Lauren from ... all the good blog names were taken. I fell in love with this card on her blog and shamelessly begged her to send it my way. It is even more amazing in person ... the hand-stitching is so fabulous, and I love that it has the word rambunctious on it (a word that is truly underutilized in card making). Knowing how much I love receiving hand-made treasures in the mail is what keeps me making my creations to send to others.
Next I received this fun post card from Maria in Finland through postcrossing. There is more on this fun project here.
And lastly, my paper racks arrived from Discount Cardstock. These are even nicer than I thought they would be. They are one solid piece with no assembly required.
I got one of the 12x12 and one of the 8 1/2 x 11 and they stack on top of each other. They are running a fabulous sale right now that includes reduced shipping (and these babies are heavy), so if you're in the market for some paper racks, check it out.
I also received some fabulous pictures via e-mail from my brother. It's amazing to me how quickly little ones change. This is a picture of my nephew experiencing his first day at the beach and the first feeling of sand on his tiny toes.
What an adorable photo!
