That never-ending escalator machine at the gym really zaps the life right out of me. Tonight it said I climbed 55 floors before I finally called it quits. I'm always just thrilled that I complete my workout without tripping and crashing to the floor :^)
When I got home, I used the remaining life that was left in me to dig into my scrap pile and put together a card for today's SCS sketch challenge. The stripes and floral pattern are two sides of a sheet of K & Company Classic K Margo DP. The pink stamped piece is a scrap of Basic Grey. I love these dancing figures from Judikins that I stamped in ColorBox Chalk Dark Brown.
I pulled out my little Janome Mini sewing machine and tried a zig-zag stitch on the striped rectangle. I used the tightest zig-zag setting which I think makes the stitching very subtle. I think next time I'll widen it out. The K&Company embossed sticker is matted on Bazzill Bling Brown and attached with a pop-dot for a little dimension. The velvet rik-rak adds a little elegance and texture to the design.
Wishing you some laughter on your Thursday.
yepper.."bliss" pretty much sums it up...mmmmm...love the stamp, love the card!
