The current Flashback Friday Challenge is to re-post your first masculine card design. Mine is from August 2007 using a SplitCoastStampers Sketch Challenge.
It was created before I learned to ink the edges of where little white bits show when you punch cheap white core cardstock ... and before I learned how to blend colored pencils using an art eraser ... but I still love the colorc combination & that comfy chair.
The curret Flashback Friday Challenge is to re-post your first card made with a butterfly. I was surprised (okay maybe not surprised that much since I love butterflies) that I have over 100 posts containing the word butterfly, but this is the oldest ... from September 2007.
I still love the flourishy tone-on-tone background and the color combination.

This card is from August 2007. I had just discovered that I could die cut coasters with my new Cuttlebug ... and created this fun little die cut flower charm with jewelry jump rings for a Caardvarks Challenge celebrating ribbon.
The Flashback Friday 21.0 Challenge is to re-post your first ever paper pieced card. I went all the way back to November 2009 for this fun little robot card ... lots of detailed paper piecing for my cute little Bloop.
I still love theese happy colors and the embossed background ... always fun to revisit these older designs.

This is a card that has stood the test of time ... I love it as much today as I did then.
It was for a SplitCoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge and was inspired by the two sage panels on the bottom left of this Poppy Nine Patch art.

There's a new theme at Flashback Friday ... repost your first-ever owl card. Apparently I was a bit ahead of the "owl-curve* because my first owl card goes all the way back to June 2008.
It's a bit busy ... and I'm not exactly sure what I was going for with all of those sentiments ... and I wish the stamped sentiment would have had a bit more contrast.
As I said in my 2008 post, owls have always reminded me of my Gran's kitchen when I was growing-up because she had some fun owl decor in the 70s.

This was for a Moxie Fab World Banner Challenge ... the letter flags reminded me of Tibetan prayer flags. This rahter large card was displayed in my studio for a long time as a source of inspiration.

The first fall "card" that I posted on my blog was actually a tag for the Caardvarks Tag of the Month Challenge. This was my tag for month of September that I posted on May 22, 2008.
I still love my circle tree concept, although if I were to make it again today, I probably would use a bit-less-busy background ... although those leaves do scream all-out-autumn.
