Tiny Packages

It's the 4 Year Blog-iversary at Unscripted Sketches ...

and we're celebrating wtih another great sketch ... and lots of great chances to win some goodies ... there are lots of different ways to be eligible for some prizes, so make sure you join the celebration fun.

This week I need congratulations cards for some new Grandparents.  I started by die cutting the Hero Arts New Baby Elephant from White Felt and stamping the image in India Ink.

I stamped the elephant again on the scrap of the Basic Grey What's Up background paper to cut out the tiny heart for his ear.  I finished with the perfect little Memory Box sentiment and a wrap of coordinating ribbon.  It's perfect for the Clean & Simple Challenge at the Basic Grey Challenge Blog. 

Since I needed several cards, I kept creating using different papers.

This time I went with greys and yellows with a wrap of grey twine.

Since these cards are for Grandmas, I'm also joining the Just for Her Challenge at Hero Arts.

Cowboy Congrats

This week's SCS Inspiration Challenges comes from House 8810 which describes itself as:

that house on your block. You know the one. The one
you drive by slowly and it makes you sigh. The one you walk the dog
by in hopes that the lights are on so you can take a peek inside.
It's the one that wins yard of the month consecutively, and is always
immaculately decked out for each holiday. It's the house that
somehow still has the time to host the best parties in town. It's the
one that makes you look at your house, and think "how do I get you
to be more like House 8810?"

I chose these adorable Western Hankies to inspire my card design.  

I received the cute stamped bib from Julia (ArtyStamper) who graciously sent me a few bibs after I admired her adorable card.

Stamps for the bib are from WaltzingMouse & Too Much Fun Rubber Stamps with a sentiment from Hero Arts All Occasion Messages.  The layout is this week's Two Peas in a Bucket Saturday Card Sketch.

Tiny Fingers, Tiny Toes

This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge was suggested by Audrie (girlgeek101) ... the fun designs of GelaSkins.  I chose this Tube Socks design (by the talented Julie Comstock of Cosmo Cricket) to inspire my card.

I used strips cut from a piece of 6x6 paper from We R Memory Keepers Baby Mine Collection ... positioning them with white cardstock space between each one.

At the bottom I stamped a sentiment from Kim Hughes A Welcome Hug (her older CHF set) and adding pink & green bling to frame it ... love how this one turned out.

Sweet Baby Congratulations

So sad EAD Designs is closing ... here's a quick and easy baby card using EAD Designs Best Friends Rub-ons & Congratuations stickerz with Sketch Saturday Layout.

Washi Tape Congrats

Stickerz & Washi Tape are a match made in heaven … I combined them using the Saturday Card Sketch from Two Peas in a Bucket.

Stickerz are from two fun sets … Baby Stamps & Congrats Sentiments.

Welcome Baby

No sure what's been in the water lately at the office, but I've quickly depleted my baby card stash ... so time to re-stock.  I incorporated lots of circles for the Circle Round Recipe Swap Quickfire.

This card uses this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch with Basic Grey Clippings papers and vintage Kim Hughes stamps ... just a bit of sponging with aqua, brown & gold inks, and a little colored pencil shading, and the gorgeous papers do all of the rest ... love this color combination.

I'm also joining the No Rules Challenge at Stamptacular Sunday.

Baby Congratulations

This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from online baby store, The Corner Stork.  I chose this Personalized Ceramic Plate to inspire my design.

I used the antique Baby Carriage & coordinating Sentiment from Impression Obsession together with My Mind's Eye Cowboy Papers for my card, where I'm joining the MME October Stamping Challenge.

The layout is the October Sketch For You To Try.

Sweet New Baby

I love the sweet simplicity of this week's Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger.

I translated the banner into a clothes line with tiny little baby outfits from K&Company.

I added a pink polka dot cloud sentiment from Hero Arts Precious Baby.

Sweet Baby Congratulations

I've been trying to use up the abundance of stickers & embellishments I have accumulated to replenish my card stash.

These two stickers and a wrap of yellow twine made a quick & easy baby card using this week's Retro Sketch & an EAD Designs Stickerz ... Paper is from Basic Grey's PB&J Collection.

Cutie Bear

This week's Splitcoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge comes from the Etsy Store of Denizmum.  Talented Ulku Akcam creations amazing little Amigurumi patterns including this sweet little bear I used for my inspiration.

I used this week's CPS Sketch and stamps from Rogue Redhead Designs Getting Grizzly set.  

Papers are from Basic Grey's Hopscotch Collection.
