This card for the Gingersnap Winter Wonderland challenge uses Sketch 123 from CPS. The wreath and garland from Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods were colored with Pebbles Shimmer Chalk with some Christmas Red Stickles added to the bow.

This week's Tuesday Trigger at the Moxie Fab World Blog is this picture of Thanksgiving Pumpkin Luminaries from Carolina Panache.
I spent quite a while looking through all of my stamps trying to find inspiration ... there were no pumpkins to be found other than a couple of jack-o-lanterns, so I tried thinking more broadly about what in the picture inspired med.
I loved the green-on-green tones and the subtle glow of the light. I imagined these pumpkins decorating a peaceful farm house surrounded by beautiful trees blazing with fall colors.
The farm house serenity scene from Artistic Outpost is stamped in Olive pastel and light green cardstock. Then I painted the entire scene with Golden Wheat Shimmerz paint for an overall glow. The image is attached to the olive card base with foam for slight dimension I love the fun little card size (approx 3"x4").
To celebrate the fact that I won the Artistic Outpost Birthday Sketch Challenge (okay .. it was a random drawing, but I'll take lucky any day), I decided to make another card with the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods stamps and Basic Grey Fruitcake Papers.
Did you know that Artistic Outpost also gives away a complete set of stamps every month? All you have to do is create a card using their stamps and link it up to that month's referral post for a chance to win. I also added a cool tag from Bo Bunny's St. Nick Cut-outs, which coordinated perfectly. I used this week's CPS Sketch #140. The finished card is 4" x 8".
The vintage Santa was stamped on the tag with Warm Red Chalk ink. Then I used a paintbrush and Whipped Cream Memories Mists to paint his beard.
I have had the Snowy Woods set from Artistic Outpost on my wish list for quite some time. When I saw the gorgeous cards by Lisa Somerville featuring these stamps on the cover and inside the Oct/Nov 2009 issue of Stampers' Sampler, I went straight home and placed my order. When I saw Sketch #12 from Get Sketchy, I knew it was time to ink them up.
Papers are from Basic Grey's Fruitcake collection and ink is ColorBox Chalk Prussian Blue. I clear embossed two of the sentiments for the corner elements ... love these stamps.
This is my last challenge as a member of the Caardvarks Crew ... and it was a fun one. The challenge is an easy one ... make a tall card. The challenge is sponsored by Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, and she's got lots of great prizes for the winner including a salloped chipboard album, acrylic font stamps, and lots of fabulous papers. After receiving my fabulous birthday gift wrapped in a NY Subway map, I decided to see if I could incorporate the wrapping paper into my card design. It turned out I had an entire stash of maps, so I decided to make a map collage.
After looking at all of the fun ruffled items on The Moxie Fab blog, I had ruffles on my mind, so I decided to add a ruffled ribbon path to follow through the mapped landscape. I used extra-strong two sided tape and then started at the bottom folding over my ribbon into ruffles as I moved up the card.
I finished by sponging with Ranger Distress ink to help unify the background and sentiments from Stampers Anonymous (What you Seek and Just Thoughts). I also added a tiny compass from Artistic Outpost's Geek is Chic set.
This card combines stamps from Artistic Outpost's Serenity and Outpost plates with Memory Box papers and this week's Get Sketchy! sketch.
I inked a portion of a sentiment stamp for the corners. The house and tree were colored with Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks to create an autumn landscape.
This week's challenge at the Order of the Opus Gluei is Blue Blue Blue ... I decided to see how my new Outpost images from Artistic Outpost would look in shades of blue with Get Sketchy's Sketch #9.
The top background is repeatedly stamped with text from the set. The tree and sentiment are stamped on Memory Box DP. I finished with a torn piece of Core'dinations Vintage cardstockand faux brads made with punched Core'dinations paper and Glossy Accents.
I seldom make sets or repeat cards, however I really loved how this card turned out earlier this week using the Artistic Outpost 2nd Anniversary Sketch and their Geek is Chic plate, so I decided ot make a few more using Basic Grey Archaic papers (some of the best guy papers ever ... why don't more companies make good guy papers??)
Of course it doesn't hurt that there are $25 in Artistic Stamps up for grabs for one lucky sketch card participant. You have until the 31st to upload your card.

I needed to make a masculine birthday card this weekend, and was thrilled to see a Sketch Challenge at the Artistic Outpost blog to make a birthday (or fall) themed card. The Home set from Artistic Outpost is my go-to set for cards for my Dad ... he loves vintage trucks and memories of country livin'. This card is inspired by today's SCS Featured Stamper jojot's Monochromatic Masculine design.
These papers are from an old collection by Basic Grey / K&Company called Motifica. I omitted the corner punches, piercing and replaced the brads with stamped barbed wire. Thanks Joanne for the inspiration.
