It's time for one of my favorite challenges of the year ... Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. I've played along since the very first year, and each year I am always thrilled with the projects I create.
I'm starting with the second tag color challenge (because the first tag challenge has me temporarily stumped) ... silver & gold.
Here is the inspiration photo the ladies shared.
I knew my card had to have at least one metallic holiday tree, so I started with the silver self-paper Christmas Tree that I had left-over from this card. For my feminine twist, I decorated it by doing a little bling-surgery on my Silver Pearl Bling Swirls from Eyelet Outlet. Then I attached it to a tag I die cut from Gold Glitter Paper.
I added some Eyelet Outlet square bling to the top of my tree, some silver metallic ribbon at the top, and a sticker sentiment at the bottom. I was super-tempted to try to fill that empty gold glittery space, but in the end decided to just let that lovely tree stand on its own.
I'm also linking-up at Anything Christmas at The Holly and Ivy Challenge.
