I keep all of my patterned paper scraps in a 12x12 storage box. I decided on a color palette of light blue, light green and yellow (for a baby card), so I pulled out any scraps that I thought would work together, which even included some K&Company packaging.
Next I cut the papers into strips using a variety of widths.
The final step was using the sketch layout to assemble my card.
The paper packaging turned out to be the perfect strip for my SRM Baby Sentiment. I added some felt stickers and a piece of flair, and this card came together quickly. By using a cohesive color palette, it's easy to make lots of different patterned papers work together seamlessly.
My card is also inspired by the Tuesday Throwdown where the theme is Sweet Little One.
