I needed some thank you cards for some men in my life. Of course, the easy solution would have been to develop a single thank you card design and then make multiples ... but I seldom take the easy way. I prefer to make an individual card for each recipient.
I started with a golf-themed design using this week's Retro Sketch.
I did follow the sketch exactly on my first try, but then got an ink smudge on my card base, so I had to start over ... when I made round 2, I forgot to look at the sketch again, thus due to failure of my memory, my washi tape on the left is going up & not down.
The golf cart is from Paper Smooches My Guy colored with Spectrum Noir markers TB6 & GB6 (check out the announcement about the next generation of markers). The Paper Smooches Thank You sentiments were too big for the space I had, so I went with a tiny vintage A Muse thank you. I finished with a few wraps of Lemon Drop twine from The Twinery (apparently now known as Marigold).
I thought it worked well with this Typed Thanks from Impress.
The final card featured the Hero Arts Leaf & Flower Background on more Tim Holtz Paper.
The Sentiment is from Hero Arts Thanks a Bunch.
Three different Thank You Cards ... three very different styles.
