I had fun with this week's Studio Calico Sunday Card Sketch.
I took several runs at it finally settling on this design.
Since the second row of washi tape was printed on the designer paper, I added three more pieces on that side of the card. The yellow polka dots are from the Studio Calico Penn Station Kit ... the other two came from Paper Issues (she's got so many cute tapes ... and Amy T has a discount code ... yes, I am enabling).
I replaced the diamonds with punched stars that I sponged with differing amounts of orange ink. I also used the orange ink on the Studio Calico Speech bubble (which I backed with a small piece of bright pink paper to make the letters pop). I colored my tiny star and bicycle using my Spectrum Noir markers (love how well they do on wood ... so much easier than ink).

I am fighting the urge to get on the Washi band wagon. You're not helping that fight at all, Steph! This is making me want to go shopping!

GREAT sketch challenge card! Like the distressed paper w/the printed line of washi. Neat idea to add the three, awesome, additional strips of washi, the bike, stars. Great card! :)
