Somehow I completely missed the fun Ellen Hutson LLC Hero Arts Cling Take 'n Make Challenge ... since she is one of my favorite stores ... and the deadline is midnight tonight ... I'm sneaking in a last minute entry.
I used a cling stamp from the new Art of the Card Unitled Love set.
My card was inspired by this Pinterest image from the Very "Pinteresting" Challenge at the ColorSnap Blog. The picture inspired me to use a page from a falling-apart copy of The Way of Chinese Painting that was discarded from the library for my background & punched butterfly. I also added pops of red & black color, as seen in the photo. I used Colorsnap ColorBox Warm Red Chalk ink to stamp my image and to ink the vintage paper for my punched butterfly.
I layered a felt flower with a red floral brad & added a few adhesive pearls to my punched butterfly to complete the design. The layout is this week's Unscripted Sketch.

Great take on your inspiration photo and this week's sketch! Love the idea of recyclying an old book too. This color combo really makes this an eye-catching card. Thanks for joining us this week at Unscripted Sketches :)

Love, love this card! The book page bkgrd, the red chair image, flower and butterfly are a great combo. Might be last minute but you could very well take the prize! :)
