When I read Sue's 52-Card Pick-Up Challenge about Spring Cleaning and the need to de-clutter our lives, I knew I wanted to do a card with a clean and simple design. She references a quote from Oprah that talks about how de-cluttering is a process that is ever-evolving as we move closer to the self we were meant to be. She discusses the concept in the contexts of work, nature, play, others, emotions, and self.
To me, one of the keys to staying true to myself & keeping excess out of my life is to always try to live in the moment ... appreciate every single second that this life gives me and don't waste my time wishing, buying, or complaining it away. This great stamp from Catslife Press is a good mantra ... enjoy today.
The sketch is Fall to Layout #81 from the Clean & Simple Stamping Blog. Instead of circles, I used these glittery & dimensional chipboard stickers from the adorable new Making Memories Flutter line ... so springy.
What are you doing to enjoy today?

Ohh, CAS is perfect for these stickers to showcase them in all their glory, and love the pink background instead of a white! Very nice blog here, I'll be stopping back. Your comment on my blog was super, thank you for taking the time to leave one!

How fun that you used a mix of images rather than repeating the same one.

Both are really neat cards-love the bird cages. I need to declutter my office/computer/craft/sewing/ironing room for spring but need to wait until I get our tax papers all ready to go.

Love those chipboard pieces. Such a great idea! Decluttering is a great idea, too. I just seem to have trouble actually making it happen!
