West Elm Inspired
How wonderful is this scene from West Elm that Kristina posted for her color challenge?? I would love to just jump inside that photograph.
The color palette is: Very Vanilla, Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, & Close to Cocoa
Since Kristina posted late and it is almost my bed time, I decided to use Julee's Mojo Madness sketch for my design. These two-sided cardstocks from My Minds Eye Tres Jolie Collection have all of the colors and worked great for a masculine birthday design (I realized tonight my supply of boy birthday cards is seriously lacking).
I love the sentiments and shabby font in Stampin' Up's That's Nice set. My old olive border strip is done by using a Martha Stewart border punch on each side. I added a present from a Studio G dollar set (perfect to fit inside a 1" punch) and the design was complete.
Thanks to Kristina & Julee for the inspiration.
I'm almost packed for Inspired. I've set a couple of blog posts for the weekend while I'm gone, including a fun Micro Challenge at Caardvarks (go check out the cool Flight of Fancy gallery).

This card is awesome and totally meets the color challenge. I had no idea you were going to Inspired you lucky girl. Can't wait to hear all the details and see all your pics. Have fun!!!
